Prosecutors Indict Girlfriend in Suicide of Boyfriend in Massachuessetts

Prosecutors say a former Boston College student who had "complete and total control" over her boyfriend has been indicted on an involuntary manslaughter charge for allegedly encouraging him towards suicide. Suffolk District Attorney Rachael Rollins announced the indictment. The boyfriend jumped to his death from a parking garage. The girlfriend, was in Korea at the time of the indictment. In the two months before the Boyfriend's suicide, the couple exchanged more than 75,000 text messages, about 47,000 of which were sent by the Girlfriend. New legislation is being considered by Massachuessetts lawmakers to provide up to a 5 year sentence for suicide coercion
